Important limitations of AI detection results and AI writing tools provided by AIDetector365.

Last updated: October 29, 2026

AI detection results provided by AIDetector365 are probabilistic estimates. They are not proof that any text was or was not written by AI.

Do not rely on a single score

Results should never be the sole basis for academic, disciplinary, hiring or legal decisions. Combine them with drafts, revision history, prior work and direct conversation.

Known sources of error

  • Short texts (under about 200 words).
  • Formal, technical or templated writing.
  • Writing by non-native English speakers.
  • AI text that was edited, paraphrased or humanized.

How the detector works

The detector is a transparent, rule-based heuristic that runs in your browser. It weighs stock phrasing, sentence structure, specific detail and personal voice. It is not a trained classifier and has not been benchmarked against a labeled dataset.

What the confidence level means

Each detection result includes a confidence level that reflects how strong the evidence in your text is — for example, how many distinct signals were found and how long the sample is. It is a conservative heuristic, not a measured accuracy rate. It has not been empirically calibrated, and a “high confidence” result can still be wrong.

No accuracy guarantee

We do not claim a fixed accuracy percentage for our detector. Published accuracy figures for any detector depend on the test data used and often do not reflect real-world writing, which is edited, mixed, translated or written in specialized styles. Different detectors can give very different results for the same text.

Writing tools

The humanizer, paraphraser, rewriter, grammar checker and summarizer apply fixed rules; they do not understand your meaning. Their output may contain errors, miss mistakes or change nuance. Review all output. Using these tools does not change your obligation to follow your institution's or employer's AI policies, and we do not promise that any output will pass other AI detectors.

Dictionary

Dictionary entries come from the Free Dictionary API, which is based on the collaborative Wiktionary project (CC BY-SA). They are not taken from a published dictionary. Verify important information with authoritative sources.

Translations

Translations are produced by the MyMemory machine translation service. The AI Translator does not provide certified translations. Have a qualified translator review legal, medical, immigration and other official documents.
